- AIASJ Awards for Architecture
- Built projects of any size, including commercial, institutional, education, residential, mixed-use, historic preservation, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects located in Fresno, Madera, Tulare, and Kings Counties may be submitted by any registered architect.
- Projects located outside the AIA San Joaquin area may be submitted by AIA San Joaquin members only.
- Projects must have been completed since January 1, 2007.
- Projects that have previously been awarded by the AIASJ Chapter are not eligible.
- Projects that have been awarded by other chapters or organizations remain eligible.
- Unbuilt
- This category celebrates the hard work and creativity of architects, although that work may not always have the chance to be realized in built form.
- To be eligible for this category, all of the requirements listed above for the AIASJ Awards of Architecture still apply, except that the project must be unbuilt.
- The Well Lived Award
- The test of time is used to single out the executed project that receives this award.
- Projects must be at least 20 years or older to be entered into this category.
